What is a Steuerbescheid?
It is the official income tax assessment from your German tax office (Finanzamt). It states how your tax was calculated and what you get back or have to pay. You can object to it within one month of notification, free of charge.
Is the objection letter in English or German?
In German, because that is what your Finanzamt expects. The explanation of what was found, and what to do next, is in English. You sign the letter and send it yourself, by post or through your own ELSTER account.
Is this tax advice?

What if the software finds nothing?
